SSS (super sad story)

SSS (Super Sad Story)

Girl was watching guy play poker and that was when guy took out his wallet to draw out some more notes for the bet.

Something in the wallet caught girl’s attention and it was the neoprint that guy and girl took when they were out together.
Girl was feeling nostalgic and wanted to take a look at all the picture they took together right from the first print,
She waited patiently for guy to finish his game and when they were sitting together on the couch, she took guy’s wallet from his hand and opened it up.
She then started to take out the various print that’s all in the transparent pocket in guy’s wallet.
Guy looked slightly alarmed to girl and he said,

“What are you doing? Don’t take them out!”

Girl looked confused and asked, “why?”

Guy said, “I took a long time to arrange these nicely. You’ll mess it up!”

“ You jolly well know that I will put it back in nicely, even nicer than your arrangement!” girl said, amused by guy’s neatness.

Guy then withdrew the wallet and said no in the playful way.
Girl was puzzled by why guy was acting so secretive ‘bout his wallet.
“Please let me see!”
“No, unless you let me bite on your hand like you do just now.”
Girl had bitten guy’s hand out of playfulness earlier on.
“Ok, bite it then.”
Guy brought his teeth near to girl’s arm, but didn’t do it in the end.
He still refused to let girl take a look at his neoprints.
She followed him into the bedroom, and he teased her by waving his wallet at her, then proceeded to lie on the bed, with the wallet underneath the pillow and his hands guarding it.
Girl just wanted to have a little fun with him, thus went to him and tried to pull his wallet out from underneath.
They started off by having a friendly fight over the wallet, by tickling each other.
But as the fight wore on, it started to get violent, and both were using strength.
Nobody knew that this little fight will be changing girl’s feeling ‘bout guy for the rest of her life.
The fight continued, but girl got tired eventually.
She was pretty angry at this point of time.
She told guy, “There must be something you’re hiding from me. There’s no reason otherwise that you need to keep it from me. “
They are both tired, very tired from the fight, thus laid on the bed.
In a state of fury, guy threw the wallet at girl, and it hit the girl’s right cheek.
She said nothing, rubbed her cheeks and then proceeded to take out all the neoprints one by one.

Her heart stopped.

For a moment she was lost.

Instinct and overwhelming emotions got her up on her feet, walking out of the door, going down the stairs, then broke into a run on the road.

Eyes filled with tears, she fled down the road, with the image of this particular neoprint etched in her mind.

The picture that guy and two other girls take together, none of which is the girl.

It was two girls, and one of them someone girl disapprove of.

Hated.

Disliked.

Paranoid towards.

It was the girl who caused them to quarrel for a few months.
The girl in the picture was someone who has caused much trouble to the loving couple.

Arguments.

Disagreements.

Tears kept flowing, and even if the gravity has an up pulling force instead of a down pulling one, the tears will not stop flowing downwards.
Grieve, hatred, sadness, disappointment, and hurt all rolled into one.
Those like a giant ball weighing the crying girl down, she stopped running and sat on the pathway beside the drive.

Yet the tears did not stop.
Nothing can make it stop.
Girl did not want her friends to worry ‘bout her, as it was a gathering of a lot of friends that night, and some had witnessed the “fight” on the bed with guy.
She started walking back, and she saw guy midway.
She stopped in her tracks, and turned 180 degree to go back to where she was coming from.
Guy did not stop following her. He approached her and started pacing back and forth in front of her.
Girl asked him to sit down on the pathway with her.
He blatantly refused.
Even when the girl said, “Just count as a beg you…”

Girl was hurt yet again.
“Why can’t he just do something simple that I want him to do like sitting down?”
Girl thought that he didn’t love her enough to such a simple request.
She don’t understand why guy is so angry at her, even when she’s so hurt.

She asked, “When did you take that picture?”
Guy: “When we break.”
“What were you guys doing together?”
“Discussing our relationship problem. It was a simple supper, that’s all.”

Girl stood up, sunddenly raging.

She plunges forward and hurt guy on the chest, said

“I HATE YOU!”,

after which kept on running into nothingness.

Guy followed in heavy pursuit.

Girl got tired of running, then stopped in her tracks, sitting down on the ground of the park she entered, breathless.

Guy approached, but didn’t sit with the girl.
Again, he paced in front of her.

Girl got up and walked to the sports area.

Guy carried her to the sit-up bench. They sat.

He said, “I’ve had enough. I’m not your dog. Don’t just scold me or hit me whenever you like. “

Words came down on girl and to her, it felt like acid was washing down her.

It hurt so much, so much.

“I’ve been giving in to you for a very long time. You think yourself”

Girl then could not register what guy was saying, and all she had in her mind was this one word.

Death.

She felt wasted. She had done a lot for the guy, but guy adamantly refused to acknowledge girl’s doing for him, and adamantly believe that he is the wronged one.

Words ringing in her head, everything goes, “You are ridiculous. You are controlling me. You are treating me like your dog.”

These may not be the exact words guy said, but girl feel it was somehow what he meant.

Guy started to walk away.

Girl stood up, saying, “I’m gonna die now!”

She ran to the beach, guy in tight pursuit again.

She crossed the patches of grass.
Guy followed.

Girl felt sand under her foot.
Finally, she said to herself.
She was so weary of running, and the dark sea just looked tempting, so calm, so inviting.

Guy in a frenzy behind, frantically shouting, “Don’t!!! Don’t!!!”

Perhaps from the weariness of it all, girl’s legs buckled and gave way.

She fell, just inches from the waves slapping on the wet sand.

Guy caught up with girl and hurled her up.

Girl took out her slippers and use her bare feet to anchor better on the sand, refusing to let guy pull her away.
Guy won of course, and managed to pull her away.
“My slippers!”, girl said.
He then led her back to where her slippers were on the sand, never letting go of her hand for fear of girl trying to run away again.
When they were safely on the path again, guy bent down to sweep away the sand that stuck on to girl’s leg.
“It’s ok, forget ‘bout it.”, was all the girl could say.
Guy held on to her wrist, but not her hand.
In a kind of grip that hurts, but not as much as how the girl hurt inside.
“This is the first time I’m using violence on you.”, guy commented.
He then tightened his grip.
Because of anger, thought the girl.
The guy then turned to hug her, saying, “I love you a lot.”
Girl stood thinking if she should return the hug.
She eventually did.
It’s an answer to how much she love the guy too.
Guy told girl that he has changed a lot for girl.
She knows. She is aware. She is appreciative.
But the thing that affects girl now is that, she is hugely disappointed that guy broke his promise and had contact with the girl.
The girl did nothing of this sort to the guy even when they weren’t together for that short period.
Correct word to describe the girl’s feeling was,

Devastated.

No point in continuing this story as it is getting far too sad for me. All the empty promises that the guy made.
The level of fidelity he had when they broke up.

But one thing that was alright was, after they patched, he kept to his promises.

Issue here is he promised all those things like not talking to that *BFH even before breaking.
Does it mean that when you break, you are entitled to do this kinda thing?
It’s a dilemma.
I’m thoroughly confused.
